Low Voltage Communications Estimator

National Cabling Technologies is recruiting a Low Voltage Communications Estimator. This is a leadership position within the company and the candidate will provide estimates for various RFP/ITB/RFQ's. Candidate will have interaction with clients, manufacturing, distribution, sales and operations. Candidate should have a thorough understanding of project costs, technical knowledge of structured cabling and other infromation technology concepts, applications and equipment as well as excellent customer service and follow up skills.

Functional / Technical Sills / Certifications

Excellent interpersonal customer relations and communication skills.
Strong PC skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in estimating for design build, RFP assistance in structured cabling installation and service.
Familiarity with voice, data, audio, video, access control and network integration.
Knowledge of TIA/EIA standards, inter and intra building design ( Must possess a valid BICSI RCDD Certifaction )
Must be able to read and understand detailed RFP, RFQ, specifications and RFI documents and develop pricing models that satisfy the requirements of the requests.

Experience and Skills

3 - 5+ years minimum experience in low-voltage / telecommunications industry.
3 - 5+ years minimum experience in structured cabling estimating.

Education / Vocational Training

BICSI RCDD Credential ( 3 - 5+ years of project estimating experience/training)
Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office suite especially Excel spread sheets.
